The right to do something does not mean that doing it is right. ~William Safire

Update: A federal judge on Thursday determined a California man behind a crudely produced anti-Islamic video that inflamed parts of the Middle East is a flight risk and ordered him detained. Court records show that Nakoula was convicted on federal fraud charges in Los Angeles in 2010.  Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.  ~William Shakespeare
I don't know if this email is true or not. I'm using it to make a point. Instead of headlines that shout "Protests rage worldwide; three reported killed outside US Embassy in Tunisia" we could have a peaceful world, grateful for all the civilians and military working and serving overseas. Rage over an anti-Islamic video produced in California spread across much of the Muslim world. Why? Because we have freedoms here in America that get Americans killed. A stupid film that maybe 10 people heard of before now has created an international incident. Once again, children have no father, parents have loss a child, family and friends have loss loved ones. Prejudice will get you dead. Ignorance will get you killed. Compliance will get you more of the same.

One does evil enough when one does nothing good.  ~German Proverb

I for one, am thankful for the power of the Internet. I would never see this in or on any of this country's main media outlets. Shame on them.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS? OR WHERE THIS IS?

This statue currently stands outside the Iraqi palace, now home to the 4th Infantry division. It will eventually be shipped home and put in the memorial museum in Fort Hood , Texas
The statue was created by an Iraqi artist named Kalat, who for years was forced by Saddam Hussein to make the many hundreds of bronze busts of Saddam that dotted Baghdad.

Kalat was so grateful for the America 's liberation of his country; he melted 3 of the heads of the fallen Saddam and made the statue as a memorial to the American soldiers and their fallen warriors.

Kalat worked on this memorial night and day for several months.
To the left of the kneeling soldier is a small Iraqi girl giving the soldier comfort as he mourns the loss of his comrade in arms.

Do you know why we don't hear about this in the news? The media avoids it because it does not have the shock effect. But we can do something about it.

We can pass this along to as many people as we can in honor of all our brave military who are making a difference.

And please pass this on!

Get to the Point: End Negative Politics

“If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain.” -- Maya Angelou
It is so pathetic when individuals take what should be a national tragedy and make a joke!  Idaho billboard compares Obama to Colorado theater shooting suspect the heading screams!  "Offensive." "Abhorrent." "Pathetic." Words like that are being used to describe a billboard from the "Heartlands".  According to the article quoted, Maurice Clements, a former Idaho lawmaker, told the Statesman: "We're all outraged over that killing in Aurora, Colo., but we're not outraged over the boys killed in Afghanistan." What an idiot! The War in Afghanistan (2001–present), a new phase of the War in Afghanistan (1978–present), began on October 7, 2001, as the armed forces of the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Afghan United Front (Northern Alliance) launched Operation Enduring Freedom. The primary driver of the invasion was the September 11 attacks on the United States. It's time for war, Bush and Blair tell Taliban, President George Bush and Tony Blair where running their countries not Obama. Let's just do a history review:

  • Jimmy Carter (D), served 1977–1981 (War in Afghanistan (1978)
  • George H. W. Bush (R), served 1989–1993
  • Bill Clinton (D), served 1993–2001
  • George W. Bush (R), served 2001–2009 (War in Afghanistan (2001–present)
  • Barack Obama since January 20, 2009

After Obama orchestrated the May 2011 death of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan, many prominent Afghan figures began being assassinated by the insurgents, including Mohammed Daud Daud, Ahmad Wali Karzai, Jan Mohammad Khan, Ghulam Haider Hamidi, Burhanuddin Rabbani and others.

Ron Paul can Save the American Dream #indivisible has taken on Mitt Romney.  Lawyers For Ron Paul Civil Rights (Voting Rights) Lawsuit FAQ This video explains a basic overview of the Civil Rights (Voting Rights/Election Fraud) Lawsuit being filed in Federal Court by Lawyers For Ron Paul on behalf of American voters If you want to see the video - Download Civil Rights FAQ-PDF (opens in new window)

According to the website, "The purpose of this lawsuit is to obtain an answer to a legal question. That question is whether you should be bound to the state party rules and statutes, or whether you should follow the federal laws found in 42 USC 1971-1974 to be unbound to vote your conscience at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida in August, 2012."

Then we add Jesse Ventura just so no one falls asleep.  During his interview on the Alex Jones Show, Ventura put out a 'come and get me' plea to the Libertarian Party, indicating that he will run for President if they approach him. Ventura has also said he would seriously consider being Ron Paul's Vice-President pick if the Congressman was successful in the Republican nomination or if Paul ran as the Libertarian Party candidate.
